The are Uzbekistan Airways and other air companies flights from Bangkok (Thailand), Urumqi (China), Delhi and Amritsar (India), Lahore (Pakistan), Osaka (Japan), Riga (Latvia), Seoul (South Korea), Tel-Aviv (Israel), Istanbul (Turkey), Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Frankfurt am Main (Germany), Roma (Italy), Tehran (Iran) to Tashkent (capital of Uzbekistan) and than about 3 hour drive by car to Khojent (former Leninabad) in north of Tajikistan, from which one can arrange to daily fly to Dushanbe.
One can also fly from Tashkent to the southern Uzbek town of Termez, from which it is then a 3 to 4 hours car ride to Dushanbe.
There are no direct flights between Dushanbe, Tashkent (Uzbekistan) and Ashkhabad (Turkmenistan).
